If you’re like me, you’re realizing that Christmas is weeks away and you need last-minute gift ideas NOW. This hit me and led to this blog. I’m hoping I’m not alone! For those out there like me (procrastinators), I’ve compiled all of my research for quick, yet good, gifts into one spot for my future reference and your current needs.
Homemade gifts are wonderful for friends and family. They don’t have to be time-consuming or expensive to be appreciated. Involve your children to make it even more special, and create lasting memories for you both.
Gifts In A Jar
Cliche? Predictable? Yes, I agree. I am hesitant to even mention them, but this is a no-fail option that can be done no matter how “last minute” you are. The possibilities are endless, and who doesn’t want a jar of easy indulgence? Don’t feel guilty for giving these away. If you need a spark of creativity, check these ideas out.
Gifts of food
Sweet or savory, homemade food is always appreciated. Nothing says “Christmas” like a tray of assorted goodies, but it’s ok to think outside the box! Try these recipes to use as gifts or for your own holiday parties.
Food can be tricky with so many diet restrictions out there. There are plenty of other ways to show you care, if you’re concerned about possible health issues! These ideas still allow your crafty side to show without the added worry. Many of these can be catered to the taste of the individual, making the gift even more special.
For those less crafty….or with no time for last-minute scrounging
Let’s face it. We only have two weeks until Christmas, so getting crafty might not be ideal. Luckily for us all, there are still plenty of great gift ideas that don’t require a lot of effort but still show love.
The gift that really matters
In the end, remember…it’s the thought that counts. Don’t over-stress or overspend! Christmas is not about going into debt or neglecting the important things due to shopping. Relax and enjoy being with family and friends, knowing time is the most precious gift.
